Absolutely! A creative, well planned solution doesn’t come from micro-control. The team must feel free enough to make decisions and act on them. This begats confidence and thus feeds on itself to create better productivity.
The reality is that if you do not trust the team to manage itself, then there is a people issue that must be resulved. Otherwise, step back and let be free, more confident, happier and ultimately more efficient and effective.
